Dukachi. Easter Reimagining

DUKACHI presents "Easter Reimagining" - a fine jewelry collection inspired by symbolic pastries and the traditions they carry

Across Europe, Easter pastries carry meaning beyond taste. From Ukrainian "Paska" and "Kalach" to France’s braided "Brioche de Pâques",  Italy’s dove-shaped "Colomba" and Spain’s egg-topped "Mona de Pascua", these seasonal forms reflect rituals of renewal, celebration, and continuity.

Gold Braided Bread Pendant

Inspired by Ukrainian Kalach and French Brioche de Pâques — a festive braided bread traditionally placed in Easter baskets, and also baked for other occasions such as Christmas, weddings, and christenings.
In Provence, the brioche is often shaped as a wreath with embedded eggs — symbols of fertility and resurrection.

The kalach pendant by Dukachi reflects this shared symbolism. Its braided, circular form is set with sapphires and diamonds along the outer edge, evoking the image of Easter eggs woven into the bread. The piece symbolizes hope, continuity, and the beginning of a new cycle.
